What is CAN?
CAN is a 501 (c) 3 Public Charity that creates a spirit of cooperation among the members of the local arts community, acting as an Arts Consortium. By doing this, we pull together our varied resources to enhance the community by providing hands-on learning and creating to all, with special emphasis toward the children and the elderly.
CAN has wheelchair accessible studio space for rent as well.
CAN will provide low cost studio space for those artists who are just starting out and are not able to have their own space.
Most artists tend to specialize in a particular genre but occasionally venture into other fields. CAN will provide equipment usage in such cases.
CAN will also offer art classes and will make scholarships available to those who are financially unable to participate but so desire to do so.
Because CAN is a non-profit corporation, the monies charged will be used to cover material and overhead expenses only.
Whether you are a lifetime advocate of the arts or new to our cause, we invite you to join us. We welcome new ideas and value enthusiasm from members and volunteers young and old.
